seeds for kids

At our Seeds consecration service I read a picture story book (called Stars, by Ray and Frazee) to the children and adults.  This was followed by questions to the children and adults alternatively.  I thought in this story the stars in the sky are like God.  These were the questions asked:

In the story what did we fid out you can do with a star?

What else can stars be?

What do you have to do/what has to happen to see a star in the sky?

If a star is like God why might it be important for it to be dark?

If we can’t see stars at night are they still there?

Is God still there if we can’t see him?

Some thoughts I left everyone were: The star is a light in the dark.  We can’t always see it but it’s always there.  We can’t see it but it’s always there.  We can see it in nature around us and can hold one to be comforted.
